The Meher Archive Collective wing of the Red Oak Building is beautiful and secure. Watch this video for a progress update and the next steps.
- Floors: new vinyl flooring for the hallways and beautifully restored maple floors for the archive workrooms
- Doors and Windows: solid wood doors installed, 8-foot windows freshly cleaned
- Roof: strengthened and restored roof over the MAC wing (north wing).
Next, with your help, we can move on to repair the roof over the auditorium (south wing).
Currently, MAC is safeguarding over 80 collections, and more than 300 boxes of important artifacts. And more treasures are coming in every day. Staff and volunteers are tirelessly working with processing, preserving, and cataloging the hundreds of items. This work is ongoing.
With each gift you make, you help ensure that Baba’s treasures will continue to be preserved and shared. MAC’s Ark-ive is set in motion, and we ask for your donation to sustain our journey into the next generation!
Meher Archive Collective (MAC) started with a far-reaching vision, and now it is becoming a physical reality. MAC’s second floor location will securely house items for the archive, and be a place for direct connection with Baba treasures through rotating displays. Ready access to materials will be possible upon request and digitization will allow access remotely.
We are grateful for the service and support of everyone who has helped MAC get to this point, and we are now preparing for moving into the building and setting up operations. We will need furniture and computer equipment, and in the future, paid staff. We thank you for your passion, interest, and support in manifesting MAC’s vision.
